Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) was created to provide temporary relief to those individuals who entered the U.S. as children (before age 16) and meet certain requirements. The program offers work authorization and the decision to defer removal action for a certain period of time. The program has been implemented by the use of executive authority.
Given the fact that these programs are sensitive to changes in the political climate, we are constantly monitoring the programs to ensure we understand how our clients may be affected.
