Executive Office of Immigration Review
EOIR is a component of the United States Department of Justice and is responsible for adjudicating immigration cases. Its primary function is to conduct removal proceedings to determine whether an individual should be expelled from the United States. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement
ICE is a federal law enforcement agency under the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) responsible for enforcing federal laws governing border control, customs, trade and immigration to promote homeland security and public safety.
The ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ICE ERO) is responsible for enforcing the immigration laws by identifying, arresting, and removing aliens who present a danger to national security or are a risk to public safety, as well as those who enter the United States illegally or are present without status.
Many of our clients are reporting to ICE ERO on Orders of Supervision. For those in the New England Area, ICE check-ins will be at their Burlington Office.
